It’s All About the Costumes in Latest Teaser for Spider-Man: Far From Home

Earlier promotional videos for Spider-Man: Far from Home focused on the loss of Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Peter’s (Tom Holland) trip to Europe and the existence of a multiverse, which is to say they covered a lot of ground in terms of where where Spider-Man is at the start of the movie and where he — and the rest of the Avengers — might be going in the future, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe ends Phase Three and begins Phase Four. Marvel and Sony are apparently aware that they crammed a lot of information into those materials, because the new teaser leaves out the heady emotional stuff and trippy quantum stuff and focuses on what fans care about the most: Spider-Man’s new costumes!

Apparently, costumes is the theme right now because /Film discovered a bunch of international banner posters that also celebrate Spidey’s new looks.

Far from Home was directed by Jon Watts, from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming  Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon,Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Cobie Smulders, Angourie Rice, Martin Starr, JB Smoove, and Samuel L. Jackson also star.

The movie opens in theaters on July 5th.
