Marvel Movie Nooz: Doctor Strange 2 and Guardians, Vol. 3 Updates
Doctor Strange
You can tell that Kevin Feige is on top of the world because the usually tight-lipped Marvel President has been dropping all kinds of hints about the future. He recently let slip that, though it takes place before Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and The Wasp will lead directly into Avengers 4. And, in a new interview with CinemaBlend, Feige confirmed for the first time that Doctor Strange will be getting a sequel. Just probably not right away.
[Doctor] Strange, you know, whenever we do another ‘Strange one, which we will do, it will be a number of years from the first ‘Strange,’ and yet he’s a very big part of ‘Infinity War.’
Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.
Whether the Erma Franklin or the Janis Joplin version, “Piece of My Heart” is likely too old school to find its way onto Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) Zune, but we love the sentiment captioned by James Gunn as he tweeted a shot of the, presumably, completed script for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.
Gunn will also return to direct the threequel, which is tentatively slated for a 2020 release.
