Witness the Creation of a Sith Lord in Star Wars Fan Film Darth Maul: Apprentice

It’s only been a few months since the Skywalker Saga concluded with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and, while the movie left us completely underwhelmed with its overt fan service and complete lack of originality, we’re still huge fans of George Lucas‘ universe. As comic book and genre movie fans ourselves, we don’t really feel it’s our job to discourage anyone from enjoying the movies or genres they love, which is why we don’t do a lot of movie reviews and didn’t review any of the sequels.

That being said, we all need a little Star Wars fix now and then, and if you’ve already seen the original trilogy a dozen times or more — like we have! — watched and re-watched the first season of The Mandalorian and simply aren’t too excited about the prospect of re-watching the prequels or the sequels, dive into this truly excellent Star Wars fan film from the folks at T7pro.

Written, produced, directed and edited by Shawn Bu, the short features the culmination of Maul’s Sith training, which came at the expense of a great deal of Jedi blood. May the force be with you!
