Ron Howard Burns a Speeder on Young Han Solo Movie Set
We’re still feeling a little weird about how Lucasfilm fired Phil Lord and Chris Miller as directors of the Untitled Han Solo prequel movie, but at least new director Ron Howard is generous with his tweets, offering us numerous behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the movie. So far, they’ve mostly been photos of cranes and other equipment or shots of himself looking at monitors, but his latest is a tantalizing look at a speeder on fire.

Lawrence and Jon Kasdan wrote the script, which focuses on the formative years of the young smuggler and scoundrel (Alden Ehrenreich), his gambling buddy (Donald Glover) and a big walking carpet who owes him a life debt (Joona Suotamo). Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Emilia Clarke, Pheobe Waller-Bridge and Michael K. Williams also star.
The Untitled Han Solo movie is slated for release in 2018.
