We were kind of bummed out when Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) failed to make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. After all, the liquor-soaked fallen Asgardian warrior redeemed herself in spades fighting alongside Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the rest of “The Revengers” in Thor: Ragnarok and we could have used some of her spit-in-the-face-of-danger bravada against Thanos (Josh Brolin).
There’s still a chance we will see Valkyrie and Thor reunited again in Avengers: Endgame, but we also have the new Men In Black: International movie to thank for bringing Hemsworth and Thompson together again, this time as very human agents of the secretive organization that keeps the Earth safe from hostile aliens.
The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.
Men In Black: International was directed by F. Gary Gray (Fate of the Furious) from a script by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man). Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall, Kumail Najiani, Laurent Bourgeois, Larry Bourgeois and Liam Neeson also star.
The movie is slated to open in theaters on June 14, 2019.
