Wonder Woman 1984: “Sorry About Comic-Con; Have a Poster”
A major attraction at the San Diego Comic-Con for more than a decade, Warner Bros. has decided to skip the 2019 Con, giving up its coveted Saturday-morning panel in Hall H in favor of a one-night only event on Wednesday night, preview night, for IT Chapter Two. Fans anticipating panel discussions, images or video promoting Joker, Birds of Prey or Wonder Woman 1984 are out of luck. But, hey, how about a psychedelic teaser poster from director Patty Jenkins showing off Princess Diana’s (Gal Gadot) badass new armor from 1984?
By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait… pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6

Patty Jenkins returns to direct the sequel from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Johns and David Callaham, from a story she wrote with Johns. Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor with Kristen Wiig as Wonder Woman nemesis Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on June 5, 2020.
