New Movie Posters: Peter Parker Strikes a Pose and Men in Black International Goes Graphic

Spider-Man: Far from Home

The new poster for Tom Holland‘s second solo movie has him striking a pose that is very different from the “duality of a teenager” posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming and the playful first teaser poster for Far From Home and more in line with the standard look of Marvel Studios movie posters. Peter strikes a classic superhero pose, rather than a spidery one (crouching, twisting, climbing, swinging), looking every bit the “Tony Stark, Jr.” he is portrayed in the latest trailer. He is flanked by Samuel L. Jackson‘s Nick Fury and Jake Gyllenhaal‘s Mysterio, setting the two up as more antagonistic than the trailers imply, with obvious angel/devil iconography.

The movie opens in theaters on July 5th.

Men In Black: International

A quartet of new MIBI posters have been released for international audiences, each done in a unique style, from graphic manga- and anime-influenced posters to an homage to the original series posters and an IMAX poster that screams “Speed Racer.”  Chris Hemsworth as Agent H and Tessa Thompson as new recruit Agent M feature on all four posters, with Liam Neeson as High T, their boss at MIB’s UK Branch, joining in on the action in a pair of them.

The movie opens in theaters on June 14th.
