The phenomenal success of Deadpool continues to affect Fox’s slate of superhero movies, first prompting the studio to pull the trigger on the R-rated Wolverine movie Logan and now by shifting the focus of the slate away from the convoluted (and aging, even after the reboot-not-reboot First Class) X-Men movies to a new team of “Black Ops” mutant anti-heroes led by the ‘Merc’ with a Mouth’ himself in X-Force.
Drew Goddard, who created and directed the Netflix series Daredevil and will next direct Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges in Bad Times at the El Royale for Fox, will write and direct X-Force. According to Deadline, Ryan Reynolds will be involved, not just as the star of the movie, but also as a producer, alongside Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.

Except Cable and Domino are missing from this pic. Trust me. https://t.co/0LGZCIAmYK
