Celestial and Deviant Designs for Marvel’s Upcoming Eternals Movie
We got our first real look at the titanic Celestials in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. and we even got to meet one of the ancient entities when it turned out that Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) was sired by a planet-sized Celestial named Ego (Kurt Russell). But the cosmic collossi are expected to play a big part in at least the opening of Marvel’s most ambitious new movie, Eternals, and merchandise has already leaked showing us more Celestial designs.
The Celestials manipulated genes to create the race of super-powered beings we will meet in Eternals, but they also created a “failed” race of monsters called the Deviants. We’ve already met one of them in Thanos (Josh Brolin), but we’ll meet more in Eternals, with the design of at least one of them also leaking via merchandise.
