Bloody Domestic & International Trailers for Bloodshot Starring Vin Diesel [NSFW]
You can’t get more “in your face” in a trailer than showing the lead actor’s face getting blown apart in slow motion in the opening seconds and that’s exactly what you get in the bloody domestic and international trailers for Sony’s Bloodshot adaptation, which sees Vin Diesel playing the title anti-hero. Bloodshot is intended to be the first in a series of Valiant Comics adaptations that will inhabit a shared cinematic universe and culminate in a crossover movie bringing all of the movieverse’s heroes together in much the same way The Avengers brought together the MCU’s disparate heroes.
After he and his wife get suddenly assassinated, Marine Ray Garrison (Diesel) is reborn by a team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he struggles to recall anything from his previous years. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally felt.
Bloodshot was directed by David Wilson, from a script by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. It is based on the character created by Kevin VanHook, Don Perlin and Bob Layton. Toby Kebbell, Eiza González Reyna, Sam Heughan and Guy Pearce also star.
The release of Bloodshot in theaters has been pushed back from its originally announced release date of February 21st to March 13th.
