Star Wars: Take a “Journey of Discovery” with Rian Johnson in Last Jedi BTS Video

We’re still freaking out about the latest trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and now there’s an excellent new video that takes us behind the scenes of the making the movie, focusing on writer-director Rian Johnson and his “journey of discovery,” from imaginative child playing with Star Wars action figures to the driving force behind the penultimate chapter of the Skywalker saga. The video is short, but includes tantalizing looks at characters and scenes we have yet to see before, including Finn (John Boyega) and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran) infiltrating the First Order, and new footage of the mysterious DJ (Benecio del Toro).

The Last Jedi stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Joonas Suotamo, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Andy Serkis, Billie Lourd, Gwendoline Christie and Laura Dern.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens December 15th.
