Marvel Movie Nooz: Unused Black Widow Design, Doctor Strange Dust and Eternals
Avengers: Infinity War
Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor & Concept Artist Andy Park, who has been dribbling out concept art all year, giving us behind-the-scenes looks at designs that he did for Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and Captain Marvel. shared the “approved” concept art for Black Widow’s (Scarlett Johansson) new “Avenger on the run” costume from Avengers: Infinity War. The red hair had to go for her to stay in hiding, but we kind of like the Wild West look of the scarf, plus she could use it to cover her head or face.
This was the approved #BlackWidow concept design I did for #AvengersInfinityWar. I guess they decided to get rid of the 🧣& the red hair 🙂 It made sense since she’s in hiding. I can’t wait for you all to see her in Avengers: Whatever The Next Title Is! #ScarlettJohansson pic.twitter.com/c3HF0oWLEi

Avengers 4
Everyone wants to know which Avengers, magical heroes, space pirates and villains are coming back in the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, but few of us get the opportunity to ask to ask one of the “heroes” in question. On a recent episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon tried to get Benedict Cumberbatch to reveal whether he will appear in Avengers 4 and the Englich actor had this to say about his alter-ego, Doctor Strange:
I’m dust, baby. I’m just, you know, out there. I’m in the ether. I’m probably part of your food chain. I’m in your stomach somewhere.
Eternals
Recently added to Marvel Studios’ slate of post-Avengers 4 movies alongside the solo Black Widow feature, The Eternals is now “tentatively set” for a September 2019 start date with Chloé Zhao (The Rider) at the helm. Written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals is intended to be the first in a franchise of movies to feature the virtually immortal race of superhumans created by the Celestials (the gigantic alien “gods” seen in Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians 2 and Avengers: Infinity War) and led by the benevolent warrior Ikaris. The movie is slated for a November 6, 2020, release.
