Star-Lord Meets His Papa in This Kick Ass Trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

This trailer for Vol. 2 gives us more of the dysfunctional dynamics that made us love this motley crew of anti-heroes in the first place, hints at the “douchebags” causing the Guardians so much trouble this go-around, and introduces us to Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) papa (Kurt Russell) for the first time!
In this follow-up to the smash original, Peter Quill/Star-Lord enlists his surrogate family of space pirate adventurers to help him learn the mystery of his true parentage.
Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 sees the return of Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Sean Gunn as Kraglin and Karen Gillan as Nebula, with newcomer Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Chris Sullivan as Taserface and Sylvester Stallone as a Nova Corps member.
The movie is slated to open on May 5, 2017.
