Awesome New Alien: Covenant Teaser Poster Recalls Original

The first teaser poster for Alien: Covenant warned us to “RUN” and featured a menacing xenomorph creeping out of the darkness. Timed for release with the electrifying theatrical trailer for the movie, Fox has debuted a new teaser poster that entreats us to “HIDE” and is a nice callback to the poster for the 1979 original that started it all.

The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the world that he created in this sequel to Prometheus written by John Logan (Spectre).

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir and Carmen Ejogo.

The movie is slated for release on May 19, 2017.
