Solo: A Star Wars Story TV Spot Serves Up More “When Han Met Chewie” Goodness

So far, we’re loving Alden Ehrenreich‘s cocksure “rough around the edges” take on Han Solo, but it’s the little clips of his early conversations with Chewbacca (Joona Suotamo) that are really selling us on this Star Wars Story. From Han’s surprise at Chewie’s ability to fly and the Wookie’s age, to this new TV spot where we learn Chewie’s name in his native language and discover the “big walking carpet” has no poker face whatsoever. “I’ve got a really good feeling about this.”

Ron Howard directed the movie from a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan. Donald Glover, Emilia ClarkeThandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Paul Bettany, Jon Favreau, Warwick Davis, Clint Howard and Phoebe Waller-Bridge also star.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on May 25th.

  • I see what you did there with the Harry Met Sally title. This looks better and better. Seeing it in the theater definitely.
