Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.
Wes Ball, who made his directorial debut with the 2014 movie and directed the 2015 sequel The Scorch Trials, helmed The Death Cure. The screenplay was written by T.S. Nowlin, who adapted it from the young adult books of the same name by James Dashner. Barry Pepper, Kaya Scodelario, Patricia Clarkson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Espositio, Aidan Gillen, Ki Hong Lee and Will Poulter also star.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure opens in theaters on January 26, 2018.
