New Stills Offer Horrifying Closer Look at the ‘Neomorph’ from Alien: Covenant [NSFW]

Empire has released three intriguing new still images from Ridley Scott‘s Alien: Covenant that include the return of Guy Pearce as Peter Weyland, a shot of imminent global annihilation via weaponized alien goo, and our first good look at the horrifying, pale-skinned predecessor of the classic black xenomorphs.

The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien: Covenant also stars Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir and Carmen Ejogo.

The movie is slated for release on May 19, 2017.
