Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi Are “Super Relaxed” in Thor: Love and Thunder Wrap Photo
After finally going into production in January, Chris Hemsworth and Marvel Studios have announced that principal photography on the highly-anticipated sequel to Thor: Ragnaraok, Thor: Love and Thunder, has wrapped. Due to its remote filming locations in Australia, the production was relatively free of spoilers, save for a few photos and videos that revealed Fake Thor (Luke Hemsworth) and Fake Loki (Matt Damon) are returning for more theatrical hijinks and shots of Natalie Portman looking absolutely swol as Jane Foster, aka the Mighty Thor.
As to how and when and why Thor (Hemsworth) puts down the hammer and Jane picks it up is anyone’s guess. In the comics, Thor lost the ability to wield Mjolnir when confronted with the realization that he and the countless other pantheons of gods were responsible for more death and destruction than they prevented. With Gorr, the “God Butcher,” showing up in the flesh courtesy of Christian Bale, it’s possible we may see an adaptation or version of this storyline.
For now, we’ll have to marvel at Hemsworth’s own swol physique and his Jack Burton-from-Big Trouble in Little China-inspired get-up and actor-director Taika Waititi‘s new Korg attire.
