Okay, yes, Justice League is a hot mess. It’s a cobbled-together, Frankenstein’s monster superhero team-up movie melding two distinct directorial styles — Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon — and who knows how many writers and producers and whoever adding their input to the plot, story, music and marketing, but it’s still a Justice League movie (!) featuring the pantheon of DC’s greatest heroes fighting overwhelming forces on the big screen. In live action. Together! Here’s a great clip that shows just how fun the movie is at times.
Zack Snyder directed Justice League from a script by Chris Terrio, from a story he wrote with Terrio. Joss Whedon took over directing duties in post-production. The super cast includes Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ezra Miller as the Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as the Atlantean Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Connie Nielsen as the Amazon Queen Hippolyta.
Justice League is in theaters now.
