The Surviving Avengers Refuse to “Move On” in Avengers: Endgame TV Spot

One of the most anticipated moments during the Big Game was when the new TV spot for Avengers: Endgame finally came on the screen. Fans have been dying to know what has become of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and their space-born compadres The Guardians since Thanos’ apocalyptic *snap* at the end of Avengers: Infinity War wiped out half of all life in the universe, including many of their own.

The spot mirrored the somber tone of the first trailer, but the new footage showed that the rest of the world might be willing to simply “move on” from the devastation, but not The Avengers. Captain America (Chris Evans) once again dons his iconic shield and rallies the surviving heroes of Earth to assemble once more, with Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) seemingly back in his Hawkeye guise. Meanwhile, Nebula (Karen Gillan) lends Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) a hand out of his tricky lost-in-space situation and Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) struggle in pursuit of their own missions, all with the ultimate goal of defeating Thanos (Josh Brolin) and restoring the universe.

Avengers: Endgame was directed by Anthony & Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War) from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It opens in theaters in IMAX and 3D on April 26th.
