Flying Like Superman Requires More than “Belief” in New SHAZAM! TV Spot
Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man gave us some pretty funny “superhero in training” moments as Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) learned to first shoot webs and then swing from them, while the ’80s goofball comedy Greatest American Hero showed us just how silly a superhero can look when trying to fly. In David Sandberg‘s (Lights Out) SHAZAM!, we see young young Billy Batson (Asher Angel) struggling with similar problems in the body of his superhuman adult alter-ego (Zachary Levi), from summoning lightning to being bulletproof and, in the latest TV spot, flying.

SHAZAM! was written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke. Mark Strong, Ron Cephas Jones, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews and Marta Milans also star.
SHAZAM! opens in theaters on April 5th.
