Fox doesn’t even need to use its marketing department when it comes to promoting Deadpool 2 because the stars of the movie will do all of the work for them. The highly-anticipated sequel is currently in production under the direction of David Leitch (John Wick) and will bring Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) together with his longtime comic book ally, the time-traveling mutant Cable (Josh Brolin) in what we’re hoping will be an insane-in-a-good-way adventure filled with laughs, cringe-inducing hi-jinks and superhero action.
Like the plot, the look of Cable in the movie is still a mystery, but thanks to a post by Brolin we at least feel confident that he’s got Cable’s scowl and signature hair style down pat.
And, thanks to Reynolds, who posted a shot of himself in costume in front of Hatley Castle in British Columbia, we know that Deadpool will be visiting Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters in Deadpool 2, though whether any of the other X-Men will be there besides Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Stefan Kapacic) is still unknown and Reynolds is not saying.
