Zack Snyder Was Reportedly Fired from Justice League Production
When Zack Snyder announced in May of last year that he would not be completing work on Justice League, leaving it up to Joss Whedon to perform reshoots and even shoot new footage, the reason given was that he wanted to attend to family matters. This was a plausible — and certainly understandable — explanation given that his daughter had recently committed suicide, but apparently Warner Bros. had already shown Snyder the door at that point. According to entertainment reporter Josh L. Dickey of Mashable, who admits to be “shifting into DGAF mode,” Snyder was actually fired from the production months before the explanation announcement was released.
Since I'm shifting into DGAF mode, here's a hot one for ya: Zack Snyder was fired from the DCEU just over 1 year ago. Couldn't write it ~quite~ that way at the time, but was able to tapdance around it [clumsy/oblique headline not mine] https://t.co/7cht70rCaG
