The Black Widow Death Scene We Wish We Got in Avengers: Endgame
Like many Marvel fans, we were not very thrilled by the way Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) went out in Avengers: Endgame, sacrificing herself so that Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and the rest of her “found family” (and half of the entire universe) might live. What makes Widow’s death scene all the more tragic is that the version we got in the theatrical cut and home video release, versus the far superior, far more heroic, alternative death scene that debuted as “Vormir Battle” in the extras tab of the Disney+ release and is currently making the rounds on twitter.
