Teaser Trailer for Todd Phillips’ Joker Gives Us a Frightening Glimpse at ‘the Clown’

‘Joker’ centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Director Todd Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Joker was written by Phillips and Scott Silver and produced by Martin Scorsese.  Robert De Niro, Marc Maron, Brett Cullen, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Josh Pais and Shea Whigham.

 Joker is slated for release on October 4, 2019.
