Sneak Peek at the Newest Stormtrooper from the Young Han Solo Prequel
What would a Star Wars movie be without the addition of a new type of Stormtrooper? Well, technically, since the Stormtrooper in question — seemingly a prototype Scout Troooper — appears in the Untitled Han Solo prequel, we’re actually talking about an outdated type, but a new one for moviegoers, nonetheless. What’s really interesting about it is that, rather than riding an early model 74-Z speeder bike like the ones seen in Return of the Jedi, the mysterious new trooper seems to be riding something more closely related to Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) speeder in The Force Awakens.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing the Untitled Han Solo prequel movie from a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan. Alden Ehrenreich stars as the young Han Solo, with Joona Suotamo as Chewbacca and Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissiann. Thandie Newton, Emilia Clarke, Pheobe Waller-Bridge and Michael K. Williams also star in unrevealed roles.
The Untitled Han Solo movie is slated for release in 2018.
