Scarlett Johansson Gives a Refresher Course on Black Widow in Super Hero Day Trailer

It’s hard to believe that nearly a year has passed by since Black Widow was supposed to be released in theaters. The movie was one of the first of many to be pushed back, cancelled or released on demand due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, things are finally getting better and movie theaters are opening up once again.

To help remind us of the movie, Marvel has released a new video for National Super Hero Day that takes us through the many adventures of Natasha Romanoff leading up to Black Widow, with Scarlett Johansson providing the introduction.

Black Widow was directed by Cate Shortland, from a script by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. Florence Pugh also stars as Yelena Belova, with David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov, aka Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff and O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason, aka Taskmaster.

Black Widow explodes into theaters on July 9th!
