Ryan Reynolds Reacts to Casting of Josh Brolin as Cable in Deadpool 2
The long-awaited search for an actor with both the girth and the gravitas needed to portray Cable, the mutant cyborg from the future who will aid and/or pester Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in the sequel to be directed by David Leitch (John Wick) is finally over, with Josh Brolin beating out Michael Shannon, David Harbour and even Brad Pitt for the coveted role, and leave it to Reynolds, er, Deadpool to make light of the casting with some off-color humor and references to newcomer mutant Domino (Zazie Beetz) and…The Golden Girls?
