Patty Jenkins Strikes Back at James Cameron’s Wonder Woman Diss
Visionary filmmaker or not, James Cameron pissed off a lot of people when he recently bashed Patty Jenkins‘ Wonder Woman, a movie that not only broke records at the box office but impressed the critics enough to give it a 92% rating, calling it “a step backwards” for women solely because lead actress Gal Gadot is attractive, a “beauty icon.”
Not only did the internet explode with angry opposition to Cameron’s comments, but Jenkins herself, who is currently in negotiations to direct Wonder Woman 2, took to Twitter to put Cameron in his place. Brava!
