Jared Leto’s Joker Gets a Creepy New Look in Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max
In anticipation of HBO Max’s first official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League dropping on Valentine’s Day, director Zack Snyder thanked Suicide Squad director David Ayer for offering up his version of the Joker, as played by Jared Leto. Snyder also teased his own version of the character to the delight of fans who appreciate Leto’s talent, but never liked his gold toothed-and-tatts version of the classic Batman villain. Snyder’s Joker, looking more like Heath Ledger‘s, with his stringy long hair and hospital attire, will appear in newly-shot footage of Batman’s apocalyptic nightmares.
Also appearing in the new cut of the movie will be Martian Manhunter, played in human form by Harry Lennix as General Swanwick in the original movie. The inclusion of this classic Justice League member was revealed via quote attribution in a previous Snyder tweet.
