Director Matt Reeves Teases the Casting of Robert Pattinson in The Batman
It’s not much, but short of an official announcement from Warner Bros., we have to assume that director Matt Reeves‘ tweet of a gif featuring Robert Pattinson from his dramatic role in Good Time (2017) accompanied by three bat emojis is confirmation that the former Twilight star will be donning the cape and cowl in The Batman. Not much else is known about this new iteration of the Dark Knight, but rumors have him facing off against Catwoman and the Penguin, a la Batman Returns.

The Batman is slated for release on June 25, 2021.
