Adam Brody Needs to Grow Up to Solve a Murder in Trailer for The Kid Detective

He’s following the clues, but not taking the hints.

A once-celebrated kid detective, now 31 (Adam Brody), continues to solve the same trivial mysteries between hangovers and bouts of self-pity, until a naive client (Sophie Nélisse) brings him his first ‘adult’ case – to find out who brutally murdered her boyfriend.

The movie was written and directed by Evan Morgan. Tzi Ma, Wendy Crewson and Sarah Sutherland also star.

The Kid Detective is now in theaters.
