Set Photos and Videos Leak as Hawkeye Disney+ Series Begins Shooting
Rumor has it that Disney and Marvel Studios have been so quiet about their upcoming projects lately because they plan to use social media to get the word out instead of the typical promotional network. If the recent deluge of photos and videos from the set of the new Disney+ series Hawkeye are any indication, that rumor is true!
The series is a sequel to Avengers: Endgame and the sixth television series in Phase Four of the MCU. It centers around Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and his protégé, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), who can be seen in the set photos and videos sporting classic Hawkeye purple duds. Also appearing is Lucky, aka Pizza Dog, a character made famous in Matt Fraction and David Aja‘s 2013 comic book run.
Episode directors include Amber Finlayson & Katie Ellwood (Troop Zero), as well as Rhys Thomas (Staten Island Summer). The series is slated to debut in 2022.
