Chris Hemsworth’s Hilarious Farewell to Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir
One of the key pieces of marketing for Thor: Ragnarok has been the image of Hela (Cate Blanchett) catching Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) magic hammer Mjolnir and crushing it to pieces. Destroying the hammer was a great way to show that this Thor movie is going to be different and that the thunder god is more than just his prop. Still, we already miss the swinging and the “pulling off” and we’re not the only ones. Hemsworth tweeted a nostalgic look back at Mjolnir, with a hilarious tag at the end.
RIP Mjolnir (Hammer)! #ThorRagnarok pic.twitter.com/mGuQRs0m7w

Even though Hemsworth might be ready to say good-bye to his hammer, one person that will never let it go is M.C. Hammer:
I have not officially ended the period of #Hammertime !!! I said, “Stop Hammertime” to initiate it’s era ! Let us Continue 🕺🏿 .. for we shall search The galaxies to recover Le’ Hammer 🔨 in due ⏰ @Iam360WISE 👊🏾💯😂 #ThorRagnarok @djkingassassin https://t.co/DFHpyrkud8
