Owen Wilson and Ed Helms Road Trip to Find Their Father Figures

When Kyle (Owen Wilson) and Peter Reynolds (Ed Helms) discover that their father is still alive after believing he has been dead since they were young, the brothers set out together to find him, and end up learning more about their eccentric mother (Glenn Close) than they probably ever wanted to know.

Veteran cinematographer Lawrence Sher (The Hangover movies) makes his directorial debut with Father Figures (formerly Bastards). The screenplay was written by Justin Malen (Office Christmas Party). J.K. Simmons, Katt Williams, Ving Rhames, Terry Bradshaw, Harry Shearer, June Squibb and Christopher Walken also star.

The movie opens on December 22nd.
