Lin Shaye Returns as ‘Dr. Rainier’ in Insidious: The Last Key Trailer

Set before the events of the original ‘Insidious’ movies, medium Dr. Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) uses her abilities to enter the Further and confront the terrifying spirits that haunt her childhood home.

Co-creator and writer of the Insidious trilogy Leigh Whannell wrote the script for The Last Key, with Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan) at the helm.

Insidious: The Last Key opens in theaters January 5, 2018.
