Suspenseful Teaser Trailer for A24’s The Green Knight Starring Dev Patel
An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, ‘The Green Knight’ tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight (Ralph Ineson), a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger.
The Green Knight was directed by David Lowery (The Old Man & the Gun) for A24, the studio behind Moonlight, Ex Machina, Hereditary and Lady Bird. Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) and Joel Edgerton (Red Sparrow) also star.
The Green Knight opens in theaters on May 29th.

The story has fascinated me since my youth when I watched “Sword of the Valiant: The Legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight”, then I picked up a book with stories of the round table.
