Return to Hogwarts in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Featurette

One of the biggest complaints about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was that, despite the witches, wizards and wands, it didn’t feel enough like a Harry Potter movie. Creator J.K. Rowling must have been aware of this because her script for the sequel takes us back to a familiar place. A new featurette for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, focuses on the Wizarding School-that-was before Harry, Hermione and Ron roamed the halls as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is summoned to Hogwarts by Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to ask for his help in hunting down the evil Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald was directed by David Yates, who directed four Harry Potter movies and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech also star.

The movie opens in theaters on November 16th.

You nailed it! Too little connection to Potter. That and Eddie Redmayne has ZERO charisma.
