At Least One More Marvel Character Survived the Ending of Avengers: Infinity War

Spoilers…

Given that the Grandmaster, Jeff Goldblum‘s character in Thor: Ragnarok, is a near-omnipotent “Elder of the Universe” who uses his limitless powers to, of all things, play games, it kind of makes sense that he would somehow figure out how to win Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) cosmic coin toss at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and survive the “dusting” that claimed so many other heroes, villains and everyday people and aliens throughout the universe. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Goldblum said, “Yes, yes, yes,” the Grandmaster is not only alive, but “like a vampire.”

I’m deathless and I can kill people by looking at them. Or I can resurrect them just by looking at them and thinking of them. I can do everything. Being able to do all of that, all I want to do is play games. So really I’m everywhere and nowhere. I’m like Keyser Söze.

Goldblum, who is currently promoting his new movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, said that he doesn’t have another Marvel appearance planned at the moment, but that he is “very much around” and will do “anything they want me to do.”
