“This is It” for the Avengers in Infinity War Super Bowl Spot

It’s fitting that the man who ushered in the Marvel Cinematic Universe should be the one to announce it’s end, and that’s certainly what Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) appears to be doing in the very dramatic new TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War that aired during the Super Bowl. We don’t learn anything new about the movie from this spot, but we do get several seconds of new footage that connects to previously-seen footage, such as the tender moment between Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), and Cap (Chris Evans) and Black Panther’s (Chadwick Boseman) war preparations against an alien force.

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy when the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) arrives to gather the Infinity Stones in his quest to rule all of reality.

Avengers: Infinity War (Part I) was directed by Anthony & Joe Russo (Captain America: Civil War) from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The super cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Cobie Smulders as Mariah Hill, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, Benedict Wong as Wong, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Racoon, Pom Klementieff as Mantis and Benicio del Toro as the Collector.

Avengers: Infinity War (Part I) is blasting into cinemas on May 4, 2018!
