“Sabotage” Re-Cut of Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer Truly Rocks

We love the Beastie Boys so we enjoyed the inclusion of the group’s raucous 1994 single “Sabotage” in J.J. AbramsStar Trek reboot. We enjoyed it less so when it became a major plot device in the less-spectacular Star Trek Beyond. Now, the folks at War Starts at Midnight Podcast have put the song to its best movie use yet as the score of a re-cut trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The perfectly synced editing of the song with the re-cut trailer really punches up the overall energy of the trailer, making us more excited than ever to see Han Solo 2.0 in action. Lucasfilm, we know you prefer your Star Wars accompanied by classical music (and we do, too!) but take note of this trailer re-cut because it’s better than the one you released!

Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca (Joona Suotamo) and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Ron Howard directed the movie from a script by Lawrence and Jon KasdanThandie Newton, Paul Bettany and Pheobe Waller-Bridge also star, with Joona Suotamo as Chewbacca.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on May 25th.
