Canadian-Brazilian filmmaker and commercial director Marcus Alqueres, who is also a former visual effects artist (300, Source Code, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), wrote, produced, directed, and edited Crittus as a “horror proof-of-concept short.” Alqueres recently signed a deal with Sony for his short The Flying Man and will direct the horror thriller Snowblind starring Karl Urban.
