Super Troopers 2 Promises Classic Jokes With a New Spin Right Meow [NSFW]

When you’ve suffered through every Broken Lizard movie since Super Troopers in the hopes the  troupe would deliver some of the magic that made the 2001 movie an extremely quotable comedy classic, you really do expect to see some of what made the original so special in the sequel. According to the guys, we won’t be disappointed. In a recent interview with CinemaBlend to promote the movie’s release on Friday, Kevin Heffernan (Farva) promised some of the favorites will return, including “liter of cola” and the “Cat Game,” but with a new “spin.”

I think with all of them it had to have a little spin on it. You couldn’t do the exact same joke. I was glad we found ways to spin, like the meow joke.

When the United States and Canada get into a dispute about the location of the actual border, the Super Troopers – Mac (Steve Lemme), Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar), Foster (Paul Soter), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske), and Farva (Kevin Hefferman) – are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the contested area.

Super Troopers 2 opens Friday.
