New Deadpool 2 Trailer Has More Dirty Jokes and “Gender-Neutral” Mutant Action

The latest trailer for Deadpool 2 finally gives us our first official look at the assembled members of X-Force and hints at the reason why Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) put together the “super duper group” in the first place: to stop the time-traveling muta nt Cable (Josh Brolin) from getting his metal mit on a mysterious young mutant (Julian Dennison) with dangerous explosive powers. Of course, we much prefer the original “synopsis” for the highly-anticipated sequel:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 was directed by David Leitch (John Wick) from a script by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Reynolds and Drew Goddard. The cast includes Josh Brolin as Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Stefan Kapacic as Colossus, with Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni and Jack Kesy in supporting roles.
