Go Behind the Scenes of Alien: Covenant in HBO First Look Video

With so many of today’s action movies overstuffed with CGI effects, actors, buildings and entire landscapes, it’s extremely refreshing to see that Ridley Scott went old school when filming Alien: Covenant and used as many practical effects and set pieces as possible. We get an excellent look behind the scenes of the making of the movie in this HBO First Look video, which features commentary from stars Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the world that he created in this sequel to Prometheus written by John Logan (Spectre). Alien: Covenant also stars Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir and Carmen Ejogo.

The movie opens Friday.
