First Footage of Josh Brolin as Cable in Hilarious Deadpool 2 Teaser [NSFW]

The absolutely mad marketing campaign for Deadpool 2 continues to entertain, even as it pokes fun at itself and the all-too-serious nature of so many other superhero movie campaigns. The latest teaser trailer is no exception, opening with a grim-and-gritty scene that gives us our first footage of Josh Brolin as the time-traveling mutant Cable, and then quickly cutting to Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) bashing the unfinished effects and putting on an action figure puppet show that includes digs at Cable’s size in the movie versus his comic book character and Superman’s mustache woes.

The trailer quickly returns to the action and we get more of Cable — now with finished cybernetic arm fx — and brief snippets of Deadpool, Domino (Zazie Beetz), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) and more! Stay until the very end to maximize the awesomeness. “Time’s up, you dumb f**k!”

Oh, and while we’re at it, how about a ridiculous Flashdance homage featuring DP and a sh*t ton of bullets?

Deadpool 2 was directed by David Leitch (John Wick) from a script by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Reynolds and Drew Goddard. The cast includes Stefan Kapacic as Colossus, with Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni and Jack Kesy in supporting roles.

Deadpool 2 opens in theaters on June 1st.
